NOVA Scotland

Provided by: Forces Employment Charity

NOVA Scotland provides specialist, trauma-informed support to veterans who are at risk of entering or already in contact with the criminal justice system.

Each Veteran is allocated a specialist caseworker who understands the experiences of ex-Service personnel. They undertake a holistic assessment and co-produce an individual support plan with the Veteran. Support is provided to build motivation, readiness to change and improvement across a range of factors including mental health and wellbeing, social stability, housing and employability – working in collaboration with local partners.
