Digital Hub

Provided by: Sight Scotland Veterans

Don’t lose sense of who you are because of changes to your sight.

Our Digital Hub increases access to a variety of digital opportunities via telephone for veterans which builds upon comradeship and helps to ease loneliness. Veterans, their carers or families are invited to engage via facilitated phone or virtual groups to a wide range of activities and information sessions.

What’s on offer:

  • Discussion group (topical group based on veteran’s choice of subject)
  • Chill and chat (relaxed chat group with no specific agenda)
  • Reminiscence (topical group exploring the past)
  • Quiz
  • Carer support groups
  • Wellbeing sessions
  • New member group
  • Talks from guest speakers

Depending on demand, we can also set up and run new groups – and we’re keen to hear suggestions.
