Highland Roots is a 10-week therapeutic horticulture programme delivered by The Seed Box at Glen Tanar Walled Garden in partnership with Defence Gardens Scheme. Designed for veterans and members of the Armed Forces community, the programme combines practical gardening activities, nature connection and peer support in a welcoming outdoor environment. Participants have the opportunity to develop new skills, improve wellbeing, build confidence and social connections, and experience the restorative benefits of spending time in nature.
